 This is my lap quilt half way in to quilting.

I like the way it looks on the back.

Has been busy with her crafts for Christmas.

 This is so cute ,she made the little round things and came up 

and said she thinks it needed something.

 The Bennie said you need some gold buttons to sew in the centers.

So I went and got my button jars to see what we could find.

Look you can see what we found , all kinds of little Christmas buttons.

Anna crocheted this star and we went to Hobby Lobby and 

found the tear drop and chain . Her granddaughter will get this.

The border will be sewed on to white, got to go shopping and

get the backing.

Joy

Jesus's Prayer For Us

But now I am coming to you, and these thing I speak

in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in

themselves (V. 13).

Jesus prayed for joy. One of the greatest benefits of

community is the encouragement that it brings. The

Christ-followers who surround me constantly point

me back to Jesus. When the pressures of life arise,

I am prone to forget my identity and lose my way.

When I do, my believing friends are there to remind

me who Jesus is and who He has declared me to be.

They remind me that  my joy is found in relationship

with my Creator, and my greatest hope can only be 

satisfied by Him.

I Need to Get to Work

Coming in to the home stretch with this quilt

Soon I  will get to  the binding.

I have quilt pierces cut  for a new one lurking around.

Maybe I will get to it some day!

 Has grown up , he is a senior in high school  this year.

Not a little boy anymore.
