Billy Graham
I was delighted he has some thing to say to us about his ( Nearing Home).
I would like to tell you about this in the book. You know the book (Unbroken) by Laura Hillenbrand the man the book was about, Lieutenant Louis Zanperini , he has a surprising story about him in this book.
Did you know that in 1983 Patricia Cornwell wrote a book about Ruth Bell Graham? She was a childhood friend of the family. That is how I came to read her books. After she had so many best sellers Patricia Cornwell's books became so graphic I stop reading her books, they gave me nightmares. But you will love this book. After I read it I felt like I knew Ruth Graham personally.

Still Cove Journal
By Gladys Taber
I love her old books this one is the last she wrote before her death in 1980.
I reread them ever so many years, they have lots of her old recipes in the books. This is a real book I can whole in my hands. The Bennie is reading his new book Unbroken on the e-reader.
As most of my blog friends know The Bennie does most of the cooking he cans and makes Jams ,Jelly's. I ask him if he would make her Cold Vichyssoise. He read the recipe and said he would make it but he called it Potato and Leek Soup and we ate it hot.
So delicious!
