Psalm 32:8

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."

Lord, I am unworthy of all the kindnesses you showered upon me in the past. I thank you for your great love to me. Help me to trust you for what I need.

Getting The Binding On

Have To Make More

I need one more row to add to this quilt to make it. There will be 4 across with 12' blocks and
and 6 rows  down then it will make a nice size queen for my bed. So 4 more to go , I got new colors to  make them.

I Finely Made Up My Mine

I have been working on Hexagons ,you know the Grandmother flower garden quilt.
Which takes forever to put these together I was going to sew them all in a row.
I am putting them on 10 by 10 in blocks. This will do better for me. I like the hand sewing.

I have also been working on the Dresden Plate quilt and will hand quilt this too.

Watch Your Step!

Rejoice, rejoice, ye sons of iniquity,
And enjoy yourselves while you can;
For the time is not long in coming
When you'll rue all the courses you ran.

You've taken your toll in wrongdoing;
Many chances you've had to do right.
You've let admonition go unheeded,
Just to win by the force of your might.

 But the odds are all stacked against you----
Your penalty is written in the stars,
And if you fail to wake up and listen
You are sure to land behind the bars.

The Great God of Heaven knows you well;
Every road and every step you have taken.
And when He begins your chastisement,
You'll know you are FOREVER forsaken.

Something New For The Sewing Room

Are better still for me, I kind of ruined my small mat ironing on it.
 This is the new one a Quilter's  Cut'n Press II, the front.
 And press side,  so neat
 this is going to be the back of my scrap quilt.
A flannel print and a change of plan about the binding I will use this.

Scrap Quilt

I was going to do this as more border but now I think I will just do the other blocks as binding .
It looks like it would be to big and I want to hand quilt this.
I stopped to work on this to rest from making flowers.
This is much easier to work with or faster to make.

Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt

 Hand quilting this is going to take some time.
 But that is what I have is time. Old age leaves you behind.
The children are now so busy with their lives and grandchildren of their on.The Bennie has been sick again  but got him to the doctor in time and his fever broke last night
He is feeling better this morning. Gods mercies are new every day.
