Pleased you have discovered Bill Bryson. He's a fantastic writer & he always makes me laugh so much. One of my favourites was his book on his return to his homeland The Lost Continent: Travels in Small Town America. I laughed til I cried at some of antics & comment. "I come from Des Moines. Well somebody had to"! Fabulous!!!!!!
Also pleased you've seen Call the Midwife. Laughter & tears & memories of post war Britain. Tremendous acting & wonderful scripts.
Patsy, just wanted to say...the app 'Kaleida Cam' is free today in the itunes store. It is a fun kaleidiscope but crashes when I take a picture of the design...I like it though.
