The Paris Architect

By Charles Belfoure

I have not been so emotional reading a book in a long time if ever.
It maybe that our times are some what  shaken up now.

As one said " Belfoure's portrayal of Vichy France is both disturbing
and captivating,( Library Journal Starred Review).

I see he wrote a book about (Baltimore Row-house) There is a story
in the Washington Post this week on the North Bradford Street  rowhouses
that they are  being ripped down after more then a century (1905). So much
history , waves of immigration--two World Wars.
Got to read his book , if it is half as good as this The Paris Architect--WOW!
